Weird-ovision vs Naff-ovision

Well it’s the morning after the night before and I must say I’m a bit disappointed.
What happened to the olden days of Eurovision being the nafest annual show on TV. Now its almost cool and I hate to say this but I find it getting slightly boring. There is only so many roc songs you can listen to before you find yourself actually saying yeah they are quite good. Eurovision is not about listening to good music as much as it is about non-political voting.
Eurovision always was one of those oh so guilty pleasures that you do on a yearly basis sitting down in front of the TV to listen to absolute euro trash and watching whilst some poor representative comes out in a bright colourful outfit and some happy song so we can all (including there own countries) laugh at them. Then the voting begins and you get to choose which country is friends with who.
And on a more serious note what’s with the not voting for Ireland , England and France. Ireland has won the most times, England is the main language along with French and no one votes for them. And Ireland gives England 12 points or whatever and England give Ireland none. Anyway that to serious now see what all this rock is doing to my fun!!
But I wasn’t disappointed by one country thank god! What sort of Eurovision would it have been without Ukraine!!!
The song by Drag act Verka Serdyuchka, was pure genius and had all the key ingredients for a great Eurovision song ; crap but easy to remember lyrics, comedy and shiny outfits
What more do you want people! Oh and well there was also Sweden’s answer to Breakfast at Pluto - The ark with quite a catchy song too. But for me it was Ukraine all the way until Serbia jumped in thanks to some politics and won!!!
They were robbed I tell you
Now I am just hoping and pleading that someone will release Ukraine’s song here in the UK so that it can and will be a club anthem over here too.
